Hand carved in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia by Glendon Boyd, a 5th generation Appalachian woodworker. He just turned 90! He continues to use traditional techniques and local woods such as maple, oak, cherry and occasionally black walnut.
Each bowl is signed and dated with the type of wood on the bottom. Treated with vegetable oil only. Hand wash. Measure about 12-13" long and 9-10" wide.
These beautiful bowls are food safe! We recommend rinsing and drying right away after each use to help keep them in tip top shape. Oiling your wood bowls every few months also helps them last for years to come!
*each one is completely unique and that’s why we love them. Select your preferred wood and we’ll send you our favorite in that color!
